Our client, a leading organization in data-driven solutions, is seeking a Hadoop Developer to join their team. As a Hadoop Developer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting large-scale data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale distributed data platforms using Hadoop ecosystems.
• Support and enhance HPE MapR-based Hadoop environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex software engineering challenges.
• Review and evaluate multi-faceted, long-term software engineering projects.
• Contribute to resolving complex technical issues related to distributed systems and data storage.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
• Deep hands-on experience with Hadoop distributions, specifically HPE MapR.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and cluster computing concepts.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Bash.
