CDL B Hazmat Tanker Driver | $31 Per Hour | Silver Spring, MD

TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based in Silver Spring, Maryland. CDL-B Haz/Tanker Driver Details:  

• Schedule: Mon-Fri / 1st Shift / home daily
• Pay: $31 Per hour
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Pool cleaners, chemicals, and supplies
• Equipment: Tanker, 24ft-28ft, Automatic
• Handling: Unloading using hose attachment

CDL-B Haz/Tanker Driver  Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL-B
• Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Endorsements: Hazmat and tanker
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-B Haz/Tanker Driver  Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL-B Tanker on local routes
• Transport hazmat liquids in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including unloading cleaner/chemicals using hose attachment.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
