Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for Special Education teachers specializing in Life Skills to support students during the 2026-2027 school year in the Eugene, OR area. This contract position requires dedication to providing tailored educational experiences that foster independence and growth for students with special needs.

Location: Eugene, OR (On-site only)
Contract Duration: August 24, 2026 June 4, 2027 (exact dates vary by district)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Positions Available: 5

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and life skills training to students in a supportive school environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain detailed records and communicate regularly with families and staff to promote student success.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Oregon Special Education Teacher License.
• Demonstrated experience working with life skills curriculum and special education students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
