As a Certified School Nurse at New Story Schools, you will play a key role in promoting student health and safety. You’ll oversee medication management, provide direct care, and collaborate with families and school teams to create a healthy, supportive learning environment for every child.

What You’ll Need

• Current Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse certification

• Experience providing nursing services to children

• Knowledge of medical conditions, treatment, and school health regulations

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to remain calm and effective during medical or behavioral emergencies

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct care, first aid, and emergency medical response for students

• Manage medication administration, documentation, and physician communication

• Develop and monitor individualized health plans for students with medical needs

• Educate staff and families on health procedures, safety, and infection control

• Collaborate with school teams to promote health, wellness, and safety standards
