Job Description
Industrial Spray Painter – Manufacturing
Pay: $18–$25 per hour depending on experience
This position is for painters who have experience applying industrial coatings in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Applicants with only residential or house painting experience will not be considered.
Requirements
• Experience applying coatings using industrial spray equipment
• Experience painting metal parts or fabricated components
• Ability to prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning and sanding
• Ability to follow coating procedures and quality standards
• Reliable transportation to work
Responsibilities
• Apply industrial coatings using spray guns or painting equipment
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting including cleaning and sanding
• Inspect painted components for quality and proper coverage
• Maintain paint equipment and work area cleanliness
• Follow safety procedures for handling coatings and materials
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing or fabrication facility applying coatings to metal components and fabricated products.
Preferred Experience
• Experience painting fabricated steel or metal parts
• Experience using industrial spray guns or coating systems
• Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
