Position: Financial Analyst I
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Newark, NJ
Responsibilities:
Position will assist with reconciliations, creation of journal entries, and review of data to determine accuracy, creation of bills to our vendors, etc
Need an understanding of accounting, so can prepare the journal entries
Need Access skill to be able to do queries, comparison, and summary of data (which could be large volume of records)
Needs Excel skills in order to create summary analysis, calculations, vlookup, pivot tables to review the data, for accuracy, and for analysis
Good Access and Excel skills to manipulate the data for various analysis, creation of invoices, and journals, and review of data with other departments
Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university
Requires zero to two years business experience, preferably in general accounting, financial analysis or related function
