About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a pragmatic and savvy approach to lead its marketing efforts. The CMO will be tasked with developing and executing marketing strategies, primarily B2B, to position the company as the go-to platform for live event organizers and venues, with a strong focus on inclusivity and accessibility. This role requires a deep understanding of the target audience, a passion for inclusivity, and the ability to build meaningful connections with diverse communities. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, brand development, customer-centric marketing, digital marketing and technology oversight, partnerships, and team leadership. The ideal candidate for the CMO position at the company will have over 10 years' of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years' in a senior role, and a robust skill set in utilizing AI tools. They should possess exceptional communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills, and a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, particularly for niche or underserved markets. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, and emerging technologies is essential, and experience in the events, ticketing, or entertainment industry is a plus. The CMO will be expected to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation, and in the future, build and lead a high-performing marketing team that shares a passion for inclusivity and accessibility.
