About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy and ensure the effective management of fiscal operations. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, accounting, grants administration, and revenue processes, and will serve as the primary financial contact for external stakeholders. This role requires a leader who can provide direct oversight to the finance team, establish operating practices that align with the organization's long-term financial goals, and monitor economic and industry trends to assess their impact on strategic direction. The CFO will also be involved in financial planning, and will work with the executive team to evaluate the financial implications of operational decisions.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Masters degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with at least 10 years' of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel, and hands-on experience with enterprise-level accounting platforms are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit organizations, healthcare, or related fields, and a proven track record in managing compliance across various financial functions. Key skills include leadership, strategic financial planning, and the ability to maintain and improve financial systems and workflows.
