Job Tittle: Anesthesiologist
Location: Columbia, SC 29209
Work Setting: Onsite
Shift: Business Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Coverage: Full-time clinical and on-call coverage

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures. This role requires availability for scheduled clinical coverage as well as on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
•    Deliver anesthesia services for cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, GI, and radiological procedures
•    Support anesthesia care for electroconvulsive therapy, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures
•    Manage anesthesia services for ICU, short-stay units, pain management, emergency airway management, and transesophageal echocardiography
•    Provide bedside and outpatient consultative services as needed
•    Ensure appropriate discharge education and follow-up instructions
•    Communicate test results according to established clinical protocols
•    Adhere to all medication policies and procedures

Schedule & Coverage
•    Coverage Requirement: 24/7 anesthesia coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays
•    Up to two anesthesiologists on scheduled day shifts
•    After-hours on-call coverage required
•    On-call providers must be available by phone within 15 minutes and onsite within 60 minutes

Required Qualifications
•    MD or DO degree
•    Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
•    Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
•    Current BLS and ACLS certification
•    DEA registration
•    NPI number
•    Proof of degree
